It’s a blend of all five pinot noir clones found on the Benedetto Estate Vineyard, Wadenswil, Pommard, 777, 114, and 115.

Aged for 16 months in oak barrels the 2018 Estate Pinot Noir has a smooth boldness that is characteristic of the Willamette Valley’s very best blended pinot noirs.  It pairs well with Cheese, Steaks, Chicken or vegetable burger.

The 2018 Estate Pinot Noir is on the larger side of the Pinot Noir spectrum. Having done its time in oak barrels hints of vanilla and tannins smoothly introduce themselves in this vintage. Bottle time will continue to soften the fruit notes of this wine and the flavors from the oak will continue to enhance the quality of the wine.
