The J Wrigley Proposal Block is a blend of predominantly the Pommard clone and finished with clones 777 and 115. Notes of blackberry and baking spices are present. Proposal Block was the first planting at J Wrigley Vineyards and holds the story of how the owners met and began their dreams of making wine and developing a World Class Estate Winery.

This amazing Pinot Noir clone 828 has an equally amazing story, known as the “Suitcase Clone”, these hard
to find vines were smuggled into the US in 1964. John Wrigley was able to obtain some cuttings and thus
begin the 828 block on the Estate. An elegant and well-structured wine, often called “bright” with hints of red
fruit, you are sure to treasure every bottle!

The 2018 Acceptance Block Chardonnay is produced using all estate fruit and fermented in a combination of stainless-steel tanks and neutral oak barrels. To maintain optimum fruit expression, winemaker John Wrigley did not employ a stringent cold stabilization process. As a result, you get beautiful notes of pineapple and ripe pear. Typical of wines that are not over cold stabilized, you will see tartrates, referred to as wine diamonds, in the bottom of the bottle.
