Smera Vineyards 2023 Estate Pinot Noir is its 4th vintage..  Aroma of black cherries, chocolate, flavors of raspberry and has more tannins than any other vintages. Soft and approachable wine with a velvety finish. This Pinot Noir is a blend of Pommard, 115 and 777 clones.

Smera Vineyards is located in McMinnville AVA in Willamette Valley, situated at 600 ft elevation with Jory, Nekia and Geiderman soils. During the growing season it gets hot during the days and Van Duzer winds kick in the evening cooling the vines.  The vineyard is farmed organically.

The Syrah grapes are from Columbia Valley.
Aromas of dark red fruit, dried cranberry, as well as smoked and cured meats. On the palate, this wine is a complex fruit explosion with candied fruit, dark cherry with a silky soft finish. It pairs well with Asian 5-spice pork with stir fried vegetable, Indian tandoori chicken over rice.

Chris James 2019 Dolcetto is another bold red that is produced by Chris in Yamhill-Carlton AVA. The Dolcetto grapes, an Italian classic wine is grown in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA in the Willamette Valley. This wine has intense red fruit flavors and aromatics with a acid backbone that allows this wine to stand up to bold Italian foods.

Aromas of plumeria, Maraschino cherry, ground espresso, and dark chocolate. Flavors of huckleberry, tangy hints of blueberry, plum, and some deeply steeped hibiscus tea.

This pairs well with portobello burger, Angel-hair pasta in bolognese sauce, baby back ribs, or anything done in a tomato based sauce.

Soft and approachable wine with great structure and a round finish. This Pinot Noir is a blend of Pommard, 115 and 777 clones and it fermented in 33% new french oak medium toasted barrels.

Nose of beeswax, brown sugar, apricot, citrus, pineapple, lemon-lime, and a hint of saline sea breeze. The palate opens with flinty and mineral notes then finishes tropical pineapple with a hint of caramel. More Italian Pinot Grigio than Alsatian Pinot Gris, this is a very clean and balanced wine with a hint of prickly acidity, perfect with briny Kumamoto oysters on the half shell.

Brought in from the vineyard and loaded directly into the press, where it macerated for four hours with one turn per hour. Following a very slow press, moved to tank where it was stabilized and inoculated with a Burgundy yeast. Racked from tank to 25% new French oak, 25% once-filled, and 25% twice-filled, and 25% stainless barrels.

Coelho Vineyard, about 35 acres of Missoula Flood sedimentary soil in the gently rolling hills south of Amity in the Van Duzer Corridor AVA, produces high acid wines with generous fruit. Planted to 13 rows of Dijon 76 Chardonnay, 5 rows of Pinot Gris, and the balance to 50/50 Pommard and Dijon 777 clones of Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir from this vineyard displays notes of red fruit and earth. Chardonnay reveals a lemon core while Pinot Gris always has a wonderful balance of lemon-lime acid and expressive fruit.
