Smera Vineyards 2020 Estate Chardonnay
“Smera” means smile in Sanskrit, the wine that makes you smile!
Smera Vineyards 2020 Estate Chardonnay is it’s first vintage. It’s young but it already shows quite a bit of complexity. It has a lot of tropical aromas with hints of pineapple, honey-dew melon, starfruit and honeysuckle. Taste show bright balance of acidity with notes of Green apple, Meyer lemon pear and pine-apple.
Smera Vineyards is located in McMinnville AVA in Willamette Valley, situated at 600 ft elevation with Jory, Nekia and Geiderman soils. During the grow season it gets hot during the days and Van Duzer winds kicks in the evening cooling the vines. The vineyard is farmed organically and wine is made with naturally available yeast.
Dried fruits with soft cheese, seafood and any Asian food pairs well with this Smera Vineyards Estate Chardonnay.
