From the coolest section of our estate vineyard in the McMinnville AVA, this Chardonnay opens with delicate floral aromas and bright citrus notes. Crisp on the palate with lively acidity, the wine reflects the balance and elegance that define our site.
Smera Vineyards is nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley at 600 feet elevation, where Jory, Nekia, and Gelderman soils shape the character of the vineyard. Warm summer days are balanced by the cooling evening winds flowing through the Van Duzer Corridor, helping preserve freshness and complexity in the fruit. Our vineyard is farmed organically, and the wine is crafted with native yeast and minimal intervention to express the authenticity of the land.
This Estate Chardonnay pairs beautifully with dried fruits and soft cheeses, fresh seafood, and a wide range of Asian cuisine.
